Manhattan DA's office says 'We will not be intimidated' after House GOP demands Trump probe docs
"In every prosecution, we follow the law without fear or favor to uncover the truth," Bragg's office said.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office is saying it will "not be intimidated" after top House Republicans demanded the Democratic prosecutor testify before Congress and turn over documents related to a possible indictment of former President Donald Trump.
"We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the justice process, nor will we let baseless accusations deter us from fairly applying the law," a spokesperson for the Manhattan prosecutor's office on Tuesday told Fox News Digital. "In every prosecution, we follow the law without fear or favor to uncover the truth. Our skilled, honest and dedicated lawyers remain hard at work."
Three GOP House committee chairmen – Judiciary's Jim Jordan, Oversight's James Comer and Administration's Bryan Steil sent a letter Monday to Bragg's office demanding information about the Trump probe.
Trump said over the weekend that he expected to be arrested Tuesday in connection to a case involving hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
