Trump drops latest campaign ad: 'Joe Biden is the problem'

Former President Donald Trump on Friday released his latest campaign ad, in which he took aim at President Joe Biden's leadership amid a wave of left-wing protests that swept the nation in recent months.

"For 250 years, the flag has been a symbol of pride, pride in our country, pride in being an American," the ad begins, before panning to footage of demonstrators burning the flag and other clips of protesters pulling it down from the flag pole.

"The left is tearing us apart," the ad then states. "We stand with those defending the flag not those disrespecting the flag and our country."

Included in the roughly 70-second clip is footage of college students at the University of Chapel Hill protecting the flag from demonstrators, as well as President Joe Biden walking away from a podium or checking his watch.

"Do you think the National Guard should intervene?" one reporter asked Biden in the clip. "No," was his response.

"Joe Biden is the problem," it concludes.
