Trump grand jury hearing canceled ahead of possible indictment: reports

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office reportedly canceled the grand jury meeting scheduled for Wednesday in the case against former President Donald Trump, who faces a possible indictment in connection to alleged hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

The jurors are on standby for Thursday, according to multiple media reports.

However, Business Insider reported that a law enforcement source said it is unlikely the jury will meet again this week. If that happens, any possible indictment of Trump could be delayed until next week.

It is unclear what sparked the unexpected cancelation.

The grand jury last convened Monday to hear testimony from former prosecutor and Cohen advisor Robert Costello. He told the "John Solomon Reports" podcast that he gave the jury documents showing that Cohen independently took out a loan during Trump's 2016 to pay $130,000 to Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement. 

Bragg is reportedly considering charging Trump with falsifying business records involving the hush money.
