Trump criticizes Biden for not attending King Charles' coronation: 'Very disrespectful'
Trump is questioning whether the 80-year-old president is physically fit enough to make the trip.
Former President Donald Trump says President Joe Biden is being "very disrespectful" for not attending the coronation of King Charles III this weekend.
In an interview Wednesday in Scotland with former British politician and Brexit leader Nigel Farage, Trump questioned whether the 80-year-old Biden is physically fit enough to make the cross-Atlantic trip.
"I don't think he can do it physically actually. I think that it's hard for him to do it physically," Trump said. "But certainly he should be here as a representative of our country."
President Biden's last visit across the Atlantic was last month when he visited Ireland with his family. Biden is sending first lady Jill Biden to attend Charles' coronation in his place while he stays at his home in Delaware, Trump said.
"I was surprised when I heard that he wasn't coming," Trump also said. "I think it's very disrespectful for him not to be."
