Trump says GOP revelations on 'Biden Crime Family would be Watergate times 10' without corrupt media
Both Jordan and Comer have accused Biden of financially benefiting from his family's business dealings.
Former President Trump said Wednesday that House Republican revelations about corruption within the Biden family would be bigger news than President Nixon's Watergate scandal if they were brought to light 10 years ago
"What Congressmen James Comer and Jim Jordan have revealed about the Biden Crime Family would be Watergate times 10 if this News was revealed 10 years ago," Trump wrote in a campaign statement. "Our Fake News Media is corrupt at a level never seen before!"
Comer, chairman of the House Oversight committee, is investigating President Biden and his family's involvement in questionable overseas business deals.
He released a summary of bank records last month showing how the Biden family received over $1 million from a Chinese company. Comer is also probing the documents marked as classified found in Biden's home and office.
Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, this week told Just the News that he plans on releasing a report later this month with evidence that a letter from 51 national security officials incorrectly dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop as Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 election had connections to Biden's presidential campaign.
Additionally, both Jordan and Comer last year accused Biden of financially benefiting from his family's business dealings.
The president has said he had no knowledge of son Hunter Biden's overseas business dealings, in part while he was vice president.
There has thus far been no known law enforcement probes into allegations the Biden family has profited illegally from overseas business dealings, as Republican have alleged since Biden's 2020 presidential campaign in which he defeated Trump. The business dealings of president's brother, Jim Biden, have also scrutinized.
