Former President Donald Trump said Monday that he wouldn't be as combative if it weren't for the news media.
“I would like to be less controversial,” Trump told Fox News anchor Bret Baier during a wide-ranging interview. “I find the press is extremely dishonest, and if I’m not combative, I don’t get my word across. I don’t think you could win.”
The 45th president became well known during his presidency for calling out the mainstream media, referring to them as "fake news."
