Former President Donald Trump will present a "special guest" at a Friday rally in Arizona.

The campaign made the announcement amid widespread speculation that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will drop out of the race and endorse him.

Kennedy is slated to address the nation at 2 p.m. EST at an event in Phoenix while Trump's rally is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in neighboring Glendale.

In the press release, the campaign included an image of Trump alongside a silhouetted person.

Earlier this week, Kennedy's running mate, Nicole Shanahan, stated openly that the campaign was exploring a Trump endorsement.

"There’s two options that we're looking at and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Waltz presidency because we draw more votes from Trump," she said during an appearance on Impact Theory. "Or we walk away right now and join forces with with Donald Trump and explain to our base why we're making this decision.”
