Trump and King Charles III have a common ancestor in their family trees. 

The president and the British monarch can trace their ancestry to King James II of Scotland, who lived in the 15th Century, according to research by the Daily Mail. 

"Wow, that’s nice. I’ve always wanted to live in Buckingham Palace!!! I’ll talk to the King and Queen about this in a few minutes!!!" Trump said in a post on Truth Social that shared the story.
