New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's climate change documentary, "To the End," earned less than $10,000 last weekend, despite a release in 120 theaters.

"Roadside Attractions' documentary on climate change, TO THE END, 'starring' AOC, was voted out of the box office--just $9,667 in 120 theaters, $81 per," tweeted Exhibitor Relations.

The dismal performance saw the film take 34th place at the box office overall, according to the Washington Times.

"To the End" explores the efforts of Ocasio-Cortez and her contemporaries in the far-left "Squad" in their fight to pass the Green New Deal, a comprehensive climate change package that received much press attention, but sub-minimal legislative support.

The Sundance Film Festival has picked up the film, which has fueled speculation that it may receive an Academy Award nomination, the outlet highlighted.

Conservatives cheered the movie's commercial failure, including filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza, who said the film "got rave reviews from the usual robotic left-wing claque but still generated a miserable $80 per theater."

"Over multiple days with multiple showings she sold around 8 tickets per theater. Major bomb!" he went on.
