New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez faces additional allegations in a superseding indictment unveiled Tuesday, claiming he accepted a litany of gifts in exchange for making public statements in support of Qatar.

In October, he pleaded not guilty to acting as a foreign agent of the Egyptian government and the prior month pleaded not guilty to bribery and fraud charges. Though he has resisted calls to resign, he did step down as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee pursuant to party conference rules.

The superseding indictment, which CNN obtained, alleges a years-long bribery scheme in which Menendez and his wife accepted luxurious gifts, including watches and tickets to a Formula One event.
