Burgum commits to GOP debate appearance despite injury: 'I'm in'
His attendance was cast into doubt earlier on Wednesday after his campaign announced that he sustained an injury playing basketball with staffers that sent him to the emergency room.
North Dakota Republican Gov. Doug Burgum on Wednesday ended speculation that a basketball injury would prevent him from appearing on stage at the Republican primary debate.
"I'm in," he tweeted, along with a picture of him backstage on crutches.

Burgum managed to qualify for the first debate, in part through a scheme in which he offered gift cards to donors to help him reach the unique donor threshold.
