Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-N.J., was projected to win the New Jersey governor's mansion on Tuesday evening.

The Associated Press called the race at 9:27 p.m., at which point Sherrill led with 56.7% to Republican Jack Ciattarelli's 42.8%, with 62% of precincts reporting.
