DeSantis sending migrants to Biden's Delaware summer home

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis is reportedly continuing his migrant transport scheme, this time sending planeloads to President Joe Biden's summer home in Delaware.
The governor, alongside Republican peers Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Ducey of Arizona, have been sending migrants to left-wing strongholds in a bid to highlight the consequences of the Biden administration's lax enforcement of immigration law.
DeSantis most recently earned notoriety for sending planeloads of migrants to the upper crust left-wing stronghold of Martha's Vineyard, which prompted outrage among Democratic leaders. Authorities promptly relocated the migrants to a nearby military base at Cape Cod.
"You had migrants die in the Rio Grande. You had 50 die in Texas in a trailer because they were being neglected. Was there a freakout about that? No there wasn't," DeSantis told Fox News' Sean Hannity, per the New York Post. "It's only when 50 get put into Martha's Vineyard... And not only did they not welcome them, but they deported them the next day with the National Guard. Give me a break."
Abbott, meanwhile, had migrants pay their respects at Vice President Kamala Harris' Washington, D.C., residence. Now, Biden himself will receive a plethora of uninvited guests, with flights reportedly planning to arrive in Delaware as early as Tuesday evening.
"We have received word of the flights," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said of the matter, according to the New York Post. "We are coordinating closely with state officials and local service providers who are prepared to welcome these families in an orderly manner as they pursue their asylum claims."
That itinerary, however, appears uncertain, with a charter jet that transported migrants to Martha's Vineyard deviating from its original flight plan, per the Post. Instead of heading to the Delaware Coastal Airport, just 20 miles from Biden's vacation beach house, the plane appears headed for New Jersey, raising questions about its involvement, the outlet noted.
Delaware authorities have nonetheless asserted that they would be prepared for the eventual arrival of migrants.
