Joe Biden has exceeded the 270 electoral vote minimum needed to secure victory in a presidential contest.

The Electoral College vote results will be counted during a Jan. 6 joint session of Congress presided over by Vice President Mike Pence.

President Trump has not conceded in the 2020 presidential election contest.
