President Joe Biden is projected to win the Mississippi Democratic primary on Tuesday evening, notching an easy win in a contest in which he was the only candidate on the ballot.

The Associated Press called the race shortly after polls closed at 8:00 p.m. Though Hollywood guru Marianne Williamson remains in the race and has claimed a modest percentage of the vote in some contests, she has yet to win a primary or caucus outright.

Biden's win in Mississippi comes after he was projected to win Georgia, which saw him score enough delegates to claim the nomination.

Prior to Tuesday's contests, he had 1,872 delegates of the necessary 1,968 to win the nomination.
