Fox News will hold first 2024 GOP presidential debate, August 23
Baier and MacCallum are two of Fox News' most popular anchors.
The FOX News Channel announced Tuesday it will host the first GOP presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle – Aug. 23 in Milwaukee.
The moderators will be anchors Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier, said FOX News Media President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace.
The two-hour debate will start 9 p.m. ET, at the Fiserv Forum.
“We are extremely proud to have Bret and Martha moderating the first debate of the 2024 presidential election season as Americans learn more about the candidates ahead of exercising their constitutional right to vote,” Wallace said.
Baier and MacCallum have co-anchored special programming for President Joe Biden’s 2023 State of the Union address, the 2022 midterm elections, the 2020 presidential election and the 2018 midterms.
Baier serves as the chief political anchor and executive editor of "Special Report with Bret Baier" while MacCallum anchors and is the executive editor of "The Story with Martha MacCallum."
Fox Business will simulcast the debate, and all Fox News Media platforms will produce content related to the debate.
