Co-founder of RFK Jr. Super PAC says independent candidate is a threat to Biden and Trump
"Both of them recognize one important thing and that is that Bobby Kennedy can win," Lyons said.
Co-founder of RFK Jr. Super PAC, Tony Lyons, says that the Democrat-turned-Independent presidential candidate is a threat to both President Biden and former President Donald Trump.
"You have Trump saying that RFK is a radical, left-wing liberal and a lunatic," Lyons said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Then you have Biden saying RFK is an ultra-MAGA lunatic. So you have to wonder, either he's helping one or the other ... So, both of them must be looking at data that shows that he's taking from both of them."
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently made the ballot in California and Michigan, and Lyons said he expects Kennedy to make the ballot in every state.
He dropped out of the Democratic presidential primary last year to run as an independent candidate.
"Both of them recognize one important thing and that is that Bobby Kennedy can win," Lyons said, referring to both Trump and Biden.
Earlier this month, members of the Kennedy family endorsed Biden at a campaign event in Philadelphia, among them being Kennedy's sister Kerry Kennedy.
Trump has recently referred to Kennedy as "anti-gun" and an "extreme environmentalist."
