Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was in a car crash Tuesday morning while on his way to a campaign event in Tennessee, but he is uninjured, his spokesperson said.
"This morning, the governor was in a car accident while traveling to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee," Press Secretary Bryan Griffin said, according to Fox News. "He and his team are uninjured."
Further information about the wreck was not immediately available.
"We appreciate the prayers and well wishes of the nation for his continued protection while on the campaign trail," Griffin also said.
