Doug Burgum reportedly qualifies for the second GOP debate
The debate will take place Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. EST in Simi Valley at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
North Dakota GOP Gov. Doug Burgum appears to have qualified for the second GOP debate according to media reports Saturday.
The debate is scheduled to take place next week in California. According to a Politico analysis, the North Dakota governor met the qualifications Saturday.
Some of the qualifications include: hitting at least 3% in two national polls, having 200 unique donors in 20 different states and having at least 50,000 donors total.
Burgum would be the eighth candidate to qualify.
Some of the other candidates who have qualified for the debate include former President Donald Trump, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence.
Candidates who have not yet qualified include former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and former Texas Rep. Will Hurd.
The debate, hosted by Fox Business, will take place Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. EST in Simi Valley at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
