More people donated in the first 10 days of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris's presidential campaign, than did for President Joe Biden in the 15 months of his presidential reelection campaign.

Data from the Federal Election Commission shows that 1.5 million people that have given to Harris's campaign have never donated to Biden's campaign.

The Harris campaign and joint fundraising committees got about 2.3 million individual donors from when Biden dropped out of the race through July 31, according to a Politico analysis.

Biden barely had 2.1 million donors in April of 2023 when his re-election bid was announced. Earlier this year, he ended his re-election bid and endorsed Harris.

The analysis put forth by Politico takes into account donations to the Harris campaign, donations given through ActBlue and fundraising committees.

The greatest increase of donors to Harris are individuals in the states of Georgia, California and New York.
