Kari Lake: RFK Jr. 'perfect addition' to MAGA movement

Arizona GOP Senate nominee Kari Lake said Sunday that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who on Friday suspended his independent White House bid and backed GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's, is a "perfect addition" to the MAGA movement.

"This just shows you how welcoming our movement is — America First, the MAGA movement, whatever you want to call it — we welcome everybody," Lake said on the NewsNation's show The Hill.

Lake said Kennedy's endorsement enhances former President Trump's platform focused on education, safety and national security, The Hill reported.

"He added a couple of things that I thought were important. It's about making America healthy again, making our children safe again. And so, I think it's a perfect addition to our movement, and we welcome him," Lake said.
