Liberal comic Bill Maher blasts VP Harris for needing 'emotional support' during interview
Maher accused Harris and Walz of lying
Liberal comedian Bill Maher criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for "insulting [his] intelligence" during their joint CNN interview.
Maher made the comments Friday on HBO's Real Time, The Daily Wire reported.
"I don't know why we ever thought she was as bad as people thought she was," Maher said. "It was like Biden had that one bad night. She had a bad three years."
Maher said the Democratic candidates were "insulting my intelligence" with absurd claims. He said it was weird that Harris kept referring to her candidacy as being a "new way forward" when as vice president she is in effect the incumbent candidate.
He also criticized Walz as "a huge liar" over several stories Walz had fabricated.
Maher lambasted Harris for needing Walz as "emotional support" during the interview, saying it was "odd" Harris could not do the interview by herself.
"He was just sitting there for a very long time without saying anything," Maher added. "He was just nodding while she did all the talking."
