Missouri, Idaho and Michigan will be awarding GOP delegates in presidential race on Saturday

Just days before Super Tuesday, three states will be picking Republican delegates on Saturday as former President Trump appears likely to continue winning races bringing him closer to becoming the party’s nominee for president this year.

Idaho and Missouri hold caucuses while Michigan will allocate additional delegates at a state convention just days after its primary was held last Tuesday, according to Fox News.

Idaho and Missouri have somewhat different rules governing their caucuses.

Polling in all three states picking delegates on Saturday show Trump with significant leads over his only remaining opponent, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

“Trump has scored convincing victories in each of the primary battles thus far and his team has suggested that he will wrap up the GOP nomination by the end of the month,” according to Fox News, “but Haley has pledged that she is staying in the race until at least March 5, Super Tuesday, where over 800 delegates will be at stake.”
