Nevada GOP Senate candidate and former Ambassador to Iceland, Jeffrey Gunter, called GOP presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley a "political grifter" on Thursday.

"She's looking like somewhat of a political grifter," Gunter said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "At this point, I really can't understand why she's still in the race."

On Wednesday, the former South Carolina governor lost to "None of these candidates" in the Nevada Republican Primary, a race that did not include former President Donald Trump and was not regarded for delegate allotment by the state GOP.

The Associated Press called the race for "none of these candidates," which earned 61.2% of the vote as of press time. Haley trailed with 32.4%.

"All of us here in Nevada by voting 'none of the above' send a clear message that it's time for her to pull out," Gunter stated, later adding that the GOP needs to unite behind former President Donald Trump.

Trump has been the frontrunner in the majority of the GOP primary polls and is predicted by many prominent Republicans to be the 2024 nominee.
