Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is reportedly planning to name entrepreneur and attorney Nicole Shanahan as his running mate.

Kennedy is expected to announce Shanahan, the former wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, as his running mate in late March, Mediaite reported Saturday.

The domain www.kennedyshanahan.com was registered earlier this month by Kennedy senior advisor Link Lipsitz, per the outlet.

Shanahan supported Kennedy’s Super Bowl commercial, and she is expected to "help finance the ballot access initiative," a source close to the campaign said.

"She might be infusing millions of dollars into the campaign to help fund the ballot initiative, which makes her attractive financially; however, she lacks the qualifications to actually do the job," the source also said.

Although the latest report indicates Kennedy will pick Shanahan as his running mate, reports last week indicated that he would pick New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers or former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura to run alongside him as vice president.
