Robert F. Kennedy Jr. makes first state presidential ballot in Utah
Kennedy dropped out of the Democratic Presidential Primary in October to run as an independent candidate.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. collected enough signatures to appear on Utah's 2024 presidential ballot, election officials said, making it the first state where the independent candidate has qualified.
Kennedy garnered at least 1,000 signatures that were required to qualify for the state's presidential ballot, and he can now file to run before the deadline of March 5, Utah Elections Director Ryan Cowley said, The Associated Press reported Thursday.
Kennedy campaign spokesperson Stefanie Spear said Utah is the first state where he qualified for ballot access.
