Ron DeSantis files paperwork for 2024 presidential run

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis filed the Federal Election Commission paperwork on Wednesday to run in the Republican primaries for the 2024 presidential election. 

DeSantis is second to former President Donald Trump in polls and is seen as the former president's most formidable opponent.
