Gorka: Leftists are 'hostages to their own ideology'
Dr. Sebastian Gorka said leftists are 'hostages to their own ideology' and it will backfire on major issues for the midterms.
Dr. Sebastian Gorka said that the Biden Administration and other leftists are "hostages to their own ideology" and that their policies are negatively impacting the American people in almost every aspect of life.
"These are individuals are what I like to call, one of my favorite phrases is 'hostages to their own ideology,'" Gorka said on the Friday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
The Biden administration's commitment to left wing positions, he asserts, has led to high gas prices and the US begging for oil from other countries.
"The first day in office, literally January the 20th-the afternoon of the inauguration, Joe Biden kills the XL Keystone pipeline and suspends all new licenses for drilling and fracking on federal territory," Gorka noted. "That's why we are where we are today. That's how we got this $7 per gallon gas in California. This is a direct result of government policies emanating from this White House."
He added that the Trump administration's method of energy independence was beneficial for all Americans.
"The President had rescinded 22 prior government presidential directives and regulations to every new one he was signed, and one of the key ones was energy," Gorka said. "By the time even before COVID hit our nation, for the first time ever had so much energy, we were actually selling it to other people, which meant we weren't beholden to Russia and we weren't beholden to OPEC."
"Now instead of telling Americans to drill, we are asking Saudi Arabia," Gorka explained.
