Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is also expected to launch his 2024 presidential campaign next week, according to multiple reports.
Scott will be the second 2024 GOP presidential candidate from South Carolina, along with former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Other GOP candidates that have announced their campaigns include former President Trump, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
