A new CNBC/Change Research Survey has President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden practically tied with likely voters across six 2020 election battleground states.

Trump leads Biden by less than 1 percent across the six states of Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The president's 47.5% to 46.8% lead is well the survey's margin of error of plus or minus 1.288%.

While the coronavirus pandemic has dominated media coverage recently, the 2020 general election is fast-approaching.

Incumbent President Donald Trump will likely face-off against Joe Biden since Bernie Sanders dropped out of the Democratic primary and endorsed his former opponent.
