Former President Donald Trump is projected to win the Mississippi Republican primary on Tuesday.
The Associated Press called the race for Trump, who commanded 93.0% of the vote as of 8:20 p.m. with 3% of precincts reporting. Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley came in second with 4.7%, despite having dropped out of the race last week.
Trump is widely expected to claim the Republican nomination and could do so Tuesday evening, should he claim enough delegates to put him over the 1,215 threshold. Washington state and Hawaii are also holding Republican nominating contests on Tuesday evening.
