The Democratic National Convention kicks off Monday -- all online for the first time.  Prime time events begin with a two-hour virtual event built on a theme of unity with speakers delivering speeches from locations across the country.

There will be no large crowds, no applause, and no balloons traditionally seen at these events after the coronavirus pandemic forced the Democrats to cancel their initial plans of an in-person event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Top speakers of the night include former first lady Michelle Obama, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and a Republican -- former Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Here's what you need to know to watch the events hosted by the DNC to formally nominate former Vice President Joe Biden as the party’s nominee for president.

How to watch it:

Just the News will be livestreaming prime time convention events here and on YouTube and Facebook from 9PM to 11PM EDT from Monday through Thursday.

ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News will air the last hour of the convention from 10PM to 11PM, and C-SPAN, CNN, MSNBC, and PBS will carry the full two hours each night this week.

The Democratic National Convention website will also have livestreams of all of the evening and daytime events, including various caucus meetings, running daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. EDT.
