The CPSC claimed innocence in response to the obtained communications.

The Biden White House was secretly looking at regulating gasoline-powered stoves earlier than previously known, according to emails obtained by Fox News Digital.

As the report shows, Biden’s Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) was exploring the legal basis for cracking down on the kitchen appliance as early as the summer of 2022.

Last August, CPSC Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. received an email from Yuwa Vosper, a policy/regulatory manager for WE ACT for Environmental Justice, requesting a “follow up” on a phone call the two had in the beginning of June.

During the conversation, Vosper said, Trumka requested the green group “evaluate the legal rationale for gas stove standards.”

“Therefore,” Vosper continued, “I would like to meet as a follow-up to discuss and determine if I am on the correct path with my thought process for our organizational memorandum draft to further our advocacy on gas stove regulation."

Trumka then replied to Vosper and scheduled another phone call.

Commenting on the revelation, CPSC told Fox News Digital that it “is not, and has not been, drafting standards to regulate gas stoves.”
