France, China renew nuclear and renewable energy partnership: report
The agreements were made during French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Beijing.
China and France on Thursday reportedly signed multiple “cooperation deals” relating to nuclear and renewable energy,
Elysee palace confirmed the deals, explaining that two major Chinese and French nuclear power plants agreed to renew their partnership, as did the French company (EDF) with another China energy corporation, according to Reuters.
The deals were struck during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Beijing, where he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping as the two reportedly discussed solutions to the Russia-Ukraine war.
