U.S. makes first sale of Venezuelan oil

The sale netted $500 million.

The Trump administration on Wednesday finished the first sale of Venezuelan oil since the U.S. captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

The sale was valued at $500 million, according to The Hill

A White House spokesperson told The Hill that President Donald Trump is in ongoing discussions with oil companies to make investments to restore Venezuelan oil infrastructure.
