Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen says he is fearful that the former president would take action against him and other individuals on his "enemies list" should he return to the White House.

When a reporter asked if he was scared for his safety under another Trump administration, Cohen replied, "Yeah, I am," according to The Hill. "Actually, I'm worried for your safety, too ... and everybody else in America."

"My fear is that you’re going to see like what you see in Russia right now," he said in an ITK interview. "Donald has a very long list of ... we'll call it an enemies list ... and I'm certain that I am definitively on it."

Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to campaign finance violations and tax evasion. He had represented himself. Cohen spent less than a year in federal prison before being released to home confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He has since published a memoir and made a number of media appearances deriding his former employer.
