The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday confirmed another outbreak of cyclospora was under investigation, amid ongoing outbreaks linked to iceberg lettuce.

The FDA added the next outbreak to its list on Wednesday, asserting that 72 cases had been linked to it, according to NEXSTAR. The latest outbreak is reportedly not connected to lettuce.

More than 11,000 cases have been documented in recent months. The FDA previously announced it had traced the outbreak to Taylor Farms, but later walked back those assertions.

Restaurant chains like Taco Bell have come under scrutiny amid the investigation.

As of press time, the FDA has not confirmed the source of the latest outbreak.
