Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik on Monday excoriated President Joe Biden for not attending one of the 9/11 memorial services at any of the attack or crash sites.

"I think it's disgusting. I gotta be honest, I was disgusted with the fact that Biden wasn't going to be there or attend any ceremony whether it was New York, Shanksville, D.C., Pentagon," he said on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast.

Biden plans to attend an observance at an Alaska military base, marking the fist time the president has not observed the anniversary at either the White House or one of the attack sites.

"I have to tell you, seeing Mayorkas – people like Mayorkas, AOC – these people were at that ceremony today," he continued. "Mayorkas is responsible for the most substantial threat to this country in my lifetime, with a completely open border that he's done willfully, intentionally."

"That guy standing at that ceremony today, he contradicts everything that that ceremony was about," Kerik insisted. "And he's standing down there like he's, you know, celebrating 9/11."

"AOC is is, she's a socialist, she despises cops. She's denounced cops, she's asked for defunding of cops. What are you doing there? What are these people doing there?" he questioned.

Kerik went on to assert that he left the ceremony early out of frustration with their presence. He further asserted that former New York Republican Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who oversaw the city's response to the terrorist attacks, received accolades from the largely Democratic crowd.
