Four Republicans to participate in fourth GOP primary debate
Trump currently boasts 61.1% support in the RealClearPolitics average, leading nearest rival DeSantis, who earns 13.3%, by nearly 50 points.
Four Republicans will participate in Wednesday evening's primary debate, the Republican National Committee announced on Monday.
Taking the stage will be Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, according to the Associated Press. Candidates needed to earn at least 6% support in two national polls or one national poll and two early state polls.
The fourth debate will be the smallest of all the forums held this cycle. Former President Donald Trump, the clear frontrunner in the race will again refrain from participating.
Trump currently boasts 61.1% support in the RealClearPolitics average, leading nearest rival DeSantis, who earns 13.3%, by nearly 50 points. Haley places third with 10.2% while Ramaswamy and Christie boast 5.0% and 2.5%, respectively.
North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum dropped out of the race on Monday.
