Graham urges Trump to kill Iranian leadership

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Sunday urged President Donald Trump to consider killing the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran to aid the protesters in overthrowing the government.
“If I were you, Mr. President, I would kill the leadership that are killing the people. You’ve got to end this,” Graham told Fox News. “If the ayatollah hangs on, it’s a giant Obama step backward.”
Graham made the remarks amid widespread protests in Iran against the Islamic government that have seen reports of Iranian authorities killing demonstrators.
Trump previously launched strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last year, and the Islamic Republic exchanged volleys with Israel in the aftermath.
Graham is widely regarded as one of the most hawkish Republicans in terms of foreign policy.
