Autopsy finds Lisa Marie Presley died of natural causes
She married four times, to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, and Michael Lockwood.
The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office has determined that Lisa Marie Presley's death was a "natural" one.
The daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley died in January of this year at the age of 54. The medical examiner identified the primary cause as a "sequale of small bowel obstruction" but noted "other significant conditions" as additional factors, according to Fox News. The examiner classified the death as "natural."
Presley followed in her father's footsteps as a musician, achieving a degree of fame in her own right. She released three studio albums, two of which reached the top ten on the American charts.
She married four times, to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, and Michael Lockwood.
Her death sparked a dispute over her estate involving members of the family, though the matter has since been resolved, per Fox. Her mother, Priscilla told the outlet via a representative that "[m]y family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together. We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever."
