Lynette Hardaway, better known as "Diamond" in the conservative influencer duo Diamond & Silk, has died.

"The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Please respect the privacy of Diamond's family! Memorial Ceremony TBA," read a tweet from the pair's official Twitter account.

Hardaway, alongside sister Rochelle 'Silk' Hardaway Richardson, gained internet celebrity through their YouTube channel, espousing support for former President Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. The pair were among his favorite supporters on social media and regularly appeared at his rallies and other events.

The former president paid homage to Hardaway in a Truth Social post celebrating her life.

"Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina," Trump wrote. "Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond's death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!"

"RIP Diamond" trended on Twitter following her death.
