The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Friday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement had deported an array of violent criminal illegal aliens, including gang members, violent offenders, drunk drivers, and those with other prior convictions.

Under the Trump administration, ICE and DHS have worked to implement the president's campaign promise of mass deportations, with an emphasis on the "worst of the worst" criminal illegal aliens. As of mid-2026, their efforts have resulted in an estimated decline in the foreign-born population of roughly 3 million. That figure includes a combination of physical deportations and voluntary exits.

Speaking about the latest deportations, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said “[l]ast week, the steadfast patriots of ICE deported even more illegal aliens from our nation, including Attempted Murderers, Violent Assailants, Robbers, and Drunk Drivers."

“Every single deportation makes America safer. DHS is delivering on President Trump’s mandate from the American people to deport illegal aliens, because that’s how we save America," Mullin added.
