At least 10 people have sustained injuries as a result of a Monday shooting in Lakeland, Fla.

Eight individuals sustained injuries that were not life-threatening while two individuals are in critical condition, according to CNN. There are no fatalities as of press time.

Authorities are seeking four male individuals. Lakeland Police Department Chief Sam Taylor indicated that the assailants approached in a Nissan sedan.

"The vehicle slowed, did not stop, and the four windows went down. It appeared to be occupied by four shooters in the vehicle," Taylor said. "They started firing from all four windows of the vehicle and shooting males on both sides," Taylor added, per the outlet.

Police discovered some marijuana at the scene and have surmised that some form of drug sale was in process at the time of the shooting. They have not, however, determined the significance of such a transaction in connection with the shooting.
