Little Rock airport executive director injured during ATF raid

The executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Ark., was injured Tuesday when Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were serving a warrant.

"Bryan Malinowski, 53, was injured with gunshot wounds and treated on scene by paramedics before being transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown," read a press release from the Arkansas State Police. "An ATF agent was injured with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital."

Malinowski has served as the airport's executive director since 2019 and is a 30-year veteran of the industry.

The raid occurred at a home on Durance Court, local outlet KARK reported. Citing "authorities," the outlet added that the subject of the investigation, whom it did not identify, opened fire on the agents who came to serve the warrant. The agents then returned fire.
