Mike Huckabee urges GOP to focus on issues for upcoming election, not get lost in personalities
"Remind people what gasoline cost under Trump and what it has cost under Joe Biden," Huckabee said.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on Wednesday urged Republicans to focus on key issues for the 2024 election and not get lost in "personalities."
"I think they need to focus on the compare and contrast of the policies and issues," Huckabee said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Don't get lost in the personalities."
He said that it is more important to focus on key issues voters care about, instead of attacking presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris because she "cackles" or over certain things in her personal life.
"Remind people what gasoline cost under Trump and what it has cost under Joe Biden," Huckabee said.
GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will face Harris in the upcoming 2024 presidential election in November.
Huckabee said that Republicans should focus on Harris's poor job at the southern border and the flagging economy.
"Let's stay focused on that record and remind people of the America they had under Donald Trump," he said.
