Biden's approval rating drops to 33%: poll

President Joe Biden's approval rating dropped to a new low in a recent poll in which just 33% of adults said that they approved of his performance as president. 

The approval rating in the poll conducted by ABC News, in early January, marks a four-percent drop compared to a similar survey conducted by the news outlet in September 2023. 

The poll also showed that just 28% of people surveyed believe Biden has good mental sharpness and is in good physical health.

The poll was conducted between Jan. 4-8, surveyed 2,228 adults and had a margin of error of two and a half percentage points.
