New poll shows Biden support drops over cost-of-living concerns, Trump slightly increases lead

When undecided voters were asked who they would lean towards at the moment, 51% said Trump while 48% said Biden.

A new Emerson College poll shows support for President Biden's reelection among likely voters has drop two points since the school's poll last month, with respondents raising concerns about the economy.

Seventy-five percent of voters think the cost of living in the United States is rising, the poll found.

“Voters who think the cost of living is rising support Trump over Biden," said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling said.

The survey was conducted  April 16-17 and polled 1,308 registered voters and had a 2.6% margin of error.
