Over half of Americans say they are living paycheck to paycheck: poll
Many of the participants polled said that the economy was the number one issue for them in the upcoming election.
A recent poll conducted by News Nation/Decision Desk on Wednesday saw 58% of Americans indicate they are living paycheck to paycheck.
Many of the participants polled said that the economy was the number one issue for them in the upcoming election. Forty percent of those polled said they strongly disapproved of how President Joe Biden was handling his job as commander-in-chief.
Inflation was also a major concern of those polled as 61% said that they were "very concerned." Immigration was a big concern for 24.94% of those polled while crime was the concern of almost 13 percent.
The NewsNation/Decision Desk headquarters interviewed 1,000 registered voters through an online survey May 28-29.
The paycheck to paycheck question had a margin of 2.9 percentage points, according to The Hill.
