Republicans outpace Dems in new voter registrations in PA, NC

Republicans have outpaced their Democratic opponents in securing new voter registrations in key swing states, according to data from Michael Pruser of Decision Desk.

Over the month of September, Republicans gained 337,107 additional voters across 25 states, compared to 210,711 new Democrats and 302,944 other new voters.

Notably, new Republicans nearly doubled new Democrats in Pennsylvania, where the GOP gained 60,710 voters compared to their rival party's 35,864. There were 32,698 new voters of other registrations.

In North Carolina, moreover, the GOP gained 19,434 new voters while the Democrats gained 11,742. There were 45,274 others.

The GOP continued its gains in Florida, moreover, nearly doubling Democratic totals with 60,436 new voters. There were 36,116 new Democrats and 48,919 new other voters.

Republicans made a modest improvement in deep-blue California as well, gaining 51,636 new voters in the Golden State to the Democrats' 37,814. The state saw 49,003 new other voters in that month. The edge in new Republicans, however, is unlikely to make a significant impact on the election this cycle.
